Wide Push-Ups

More chest, less triceps. Same strict-depth standard.

How to do Wide Push-Ups

  1. Set your hands wider than shoulder width — about half a hand-length out each side.
  2. Lower under control until your chest nears the floor.
  3. Press up to full lockout without letting your elbows flare past 90 degrees.
Where reps get stolen

Short range. Wide hands make the rep feel harder at the same depth — going shallower cancels the point.
