How to do Wide Push-Ups
- Set your hands wider than shoulder width — about half a hand-length out each side.
- Lower under control until your chest nears the floor.
- Press up to full lockout without letting your elbows flare past 90 degrees.
Short range. Wide hands make the rep feel harder at the same depth — going shallower cancels the point.
