How to do Romanian Deadlift

  1. Start standing, bar at your hips, knees slightly bent.
  2. Push your hips straight back, sliding the bar down your thighs.
  3. Stop when your hamstrings pull the handbrake — usually mid-shin.
  4. Drive your hips forward to stand.

Turning it into a squat. If your knees keep bending, your hamstrings keep escaping.
