One-Arm Kettlebell Swing

A hip hinge with a heartbeat. Power from the hips, not the arm.

How to do One-Arm Kettlebell Swing

  1. Hike the bell back between your legs with one hand, flat back.
  2. Snap your hips forward — the bell floats to chest height on its own.
  3. Let it swing back down into the next hinge; the arm is just a rope.
Where reps get stolen

Arm lifting. If your shoulder hauls the bell up, it's a front raise with momentum and a grudge.
