How to do it

Set up

  1. Stand on the middle of a long band with the feet about hip-width apart.
  2. Hold both ends beside the thighs with the arms straight and the knees slightly bent.

Do the rep

  1. Move the hips back and lower the hands along the legs without adding more knee bend.
  2. Push through the feet and extend the hips to stand tall.

What counts as a rep

A rep counts when the hips move back until the hamstrings limit the range and return to standing with a steady back.

Cues

  • Move at a steady speed.
  • Use a stronger band when the reps get easy.
